Home Assistant Shabbat and Yom Tov Dashboard

A Home Assistant dashboard designed for Shabbat and Yom Tov observance, bringing together candle lighting times, Red Alert status, weather, Hebrew date, and the weekly parsha in one glanceable view.

Sensors and Integrations Used

The dashboard pulls data from several Home Assistant integrations:

• Shabbat Start Time (sensor.hebcal_start_of_shabbat) — Candle lighting time from the Jewish Calendar integration

• Shabbat End Time (sensor.hebcal_end_of_shabbat) — Havdalah time

• Weekly Parsha (sensor.hebcal_parsha) — This week's Torah portion

• Hebrew Date (sensor.hebcal_hebrew_date) — Current Hebrew calendar date

• Red Alert — Jerusalem (binary_sensor.oref_alert) — Pikud HaOref rocket alert status via RedAlert integration

• Weather (weather.ims_weather) — Israel Meteorological Service forecast for Jerusalem

• Current Time (sensor.time) — Jerusalem local time

Dashboard Configuration

The full dashboard YAML configuration is included in the repository as dashboard.yaml, ready to import into your Home Assistant instance.
