Claude Code Repos Index: 100+ Repositories Beyond Traditional Development
Published: 23 - Mar - 2026
Over the past year, I've been using Claude Code for far more than writing software. I've built repositories for legal research, healthcare tracking, financial planning, communications workflows, and dozens of other use-cases that go well beyond the traditional developer experience. To keep track of it all, I built the Claude Code Repos Index — a searchable directory of over 100 repositories.
The Agent Workspace Model
The core idea behind the index is what I call "The Agent Workspace Model" — treating Claude not just as a coding assistant, but as a multi-purpose agent platform. Each repository represents a workspace built around a specific domain or task, with Claude Code as the engine driving the work.
The repositories span a wide range of categories:
Systems Administration — server management, automation scripts, infrastructure tooling
Legal and Financial Planning — document analysis, compliance tracking
Health & Wellbeing — personal health data tracking and analysis
Communications and Writing — content workflows, editing, publishing
Research and Analysis — data gathering, OSINT, structured research
Marketing and Productivity — campaign management, task automation
What The Index Offers
The site is fully interactive with filtering by category, search across 100+ tags, sorting by date or name, and pagination for browsing the full collection. There's also a JSON data export for anyone who wants to work with the data programmatically.
Each entry in the index links back to its GitHub repository, so you can explore the actual workspaces, see the CLAUDE.md configurations, and understand how each one is set up.
Why Share This?
I think most people still think of AI coding assistants as tools for writing software. But the real potential is much broader — Claude Code can be a general-purpose agent for almost any knowledge work that involves files, data, and iteration. This index is my attempt to demonstrate that range and hopefully inspire others to explore similar workflows.
